Freeze plugs...

I have a 66 Satellite with a 361 and 727 trans and I have to replace the freeze plugs, specifically one on the left rear. Can I do this job in my driveway or will I have to take the engine off its motor mounts to do it?

That's a tough thing to do with the motor in the car. Not sure you'll be able to get to all of them. Good luck! 440'

If one is rotted out the others are right behind. Do them all and use brass.

I have installed the temporary rubber ones with the motor in the car. It lasted until I could pull the motor and do them all properly, along with other upgrades.

dealer charged my mother in law almost one thousand dollars to change hers
they shortly leaked again
dealer stiff armed
I pulled trans took pics and sued the dealer
one in croocked with lots of silicone
lucky it did not blow out
got 2k
