US Cartool mini tub kit

Anyone on here use the US cartool mini tub kit? With the wheel tub strips and spring relocation parts and the trunk hinge braces? How did it work out for you ?

They worked really nice. I didn't like the braces so modified the OE's to work. I rolled a lip on them to make it easier welding and make it look smooth and stock. FYI you'll have to modify your ventlines & trunk mat.

I used the spring relocation kit but fabricated my own mini tubs for my 67 Belvedere . . .

Worked great . . . In my opinion . . .

Has anyone used or know of anyone who have used AMD’S 3” wider wheelhouse tub? Looks like it would eliminate welding the seam up. At $169 a side might not be that bad a deal.

I believe they only make those for the 66-70 B-bodies... nothing for the earlier cars yet - would be nice though - the GM guys have had deep tubs available for over a decade and make building a lot easier.

I used the usct mini tub and spring relocation kits, worked out great. I will say the mini tub "kit" could be made from some 16 gauge if you have some laying around. For my 64' the trunk braces didn't fit all that great and the stock could be modified pretty easy.

I did the same with my trunk support brackets. I just didn't like the looks of theirs. It made it more of a OEM look.
