Hello everyone, I have a 1963 plymouth savoy 2dr. statepolice car. It has a 383 3spd. on the column. Will max wedge headers fit it? Reason I ask is looks like it may hit the 3spd. column linkages. Thanks Lee

No they won't......Max Wedge is a whole different animal.

Thanks Guys are you saying they wont work because they will hit the 3spd. on column linkage? Or they wont work because of other reasons? I thought the bolt up to head pattern was the same, other than smaller ports on head compared to manifold! Thanks Lee

There is not much room by the column where the exhaust dump is located. MW exhaust manifolds take up quite a bit of real estate. Then you have to consider actual exhaust pipe hook up to manifolds, 3 in dia pipe eats up space too.

they also might hit the inner fenders or the shock tower on the passenger side do to having a 383 low deck

I have these on a 61 FURY. They were on the car when I got it. The brake line had been relocated, the heater box corner had been modified to fit.
The battery box is very close to manifold. image.jpeg

Shame to use such kool Manis on a low deck block. Sell them to me for my 1963 426 M/W Sport Fury vert. I'm cloning .

I was going to use them on the 62 300 you see in pic with 413 2x4 inline. Did not want to modify brake lines or heater A/C box. The max wedge manifolds have the original pipes and mufflers.
They are not for sale, but I would consider trading them for 61 long ram exhaust manifolds! They do repop these MW manifolds.
