Ok I know I can just Jerry-Rig some stuff to mount my Retrosound dash speaker, but would like to see a picture of what the correct OEM hardware looks like. Some dummy :BangHead: stripped his dash for paint and now He can’t find the correct screws/studs and pal nuts.

Are these what I need??

No studs and pal nuts on 70 RR speaker. There is a separate bracket the speaker mounts to and they use small bolts that thread into the speaker frame. Then the bracket gets mounted to the underside of the dash. 2 studs hang from the dash and pal nuts retain the bracket & speaker combo. This is how the factory did it. Here is photos of it.

Main thin to watch out for if you have the heater controls in there is if your speaker hangs too low it will hit the heater controls.

I have the bracket and it is a thin Speaker so it doesn’t hit the heater controls. I see the holes in dash, but no speed nut clip or anything for the screws or bolts to thread into. This is the speaker.
