PERFECT timing on posting this, thank you very much. Yes we have 2 of them and they are fantastic in my opinion. WELL worth what he charges for them. Here are a couple examples from our experiences.

Example 1) We were having engine problems in our stroker 440 c-body, it kept stalling when it was warmed up and we tried everything we thought was wrong and it turns out it was the brain. We put the Mr. Rehrenburg brain in and the car has never run better, no more stalling.

Another example, example 2 our '66 Charger build.) We started the car the other day since the engine was put back in the car, it was turning over and farting but not starting. Turns out like our c-body stroker it was the brain, we put in an Rehrenburg and it started right up.

Just one guys 2 cents.......

Professor Ehrenberg would not sell just any old junk. Dude is a walking Mopar historian!

Just installed the HiRev 7500 distributor and ECU In my 71 440. So far impressed by the quality and performance. Car starts up immediately and idles smooth. On road performance is great. Very happy with it so far. I’ll be trying the HiRev ECU in the 72 340 Demon. It presently is running an old 1980’s orange box.

My coronet has been stalling when warmed up.Starts right back up but wants to stall.

I’m thinking my orange box may be going bad.

This is the EXACT same thing that was happening with our stroker c-body. I would order a HiRev brain, replace the orange one, and see what happens. Which by the way we had an orange brain in our Charger project and it was no good

What coil are you guys running with this box?

Stock coil, IF you order the brain (and I seriously suggest you should) it says to run a stock coil if memory serves. The brain comes with instructions when you get it, and I would seriously read them because we were gonna put an Edelbrock Master Blaster 2 coil in and it said not to do that.

I am I have tried everything else.Sure I got a better tune playing around with it.But it warms up and stalls every time.

Yeah I posted that we needed help with the car on the ForCBodiesOnly forum and people thought it was vapor lock, the thermostat, fuel, tuning. Basically a whole bunch a stuff. Here is the thread if you wanna see it.......

Please keep us updated on what happens

Exactly what I have went through.Started in 2017.I got so fed up I just let it sit. Finally got it out last week. She ran like a raped ape.But every time I would come to a stop it would stall.I have tried everything that was in your post.

A friend of mine installed on his 74 Dart. Just last long about 4 months. I have one which used just for a couple of weeks after the last Chromed MP box came out bad and I was waiting for the Rev-N-Nator. Nothing impressive, but nice. I'd say maybe similar to the Orange MP ( which I run for a week or so ), but nothing comparable with the Chromed box. That one was really HOT.

Using Blaster II coil.

Mine didn't come with any instructions as far I recall ( around 8 years ago ) and the one my friend got either. I bought straight from RE at his eBay account. I think it was a recent release back in the days. It will be my spare one now

Edelbrock doesn't make coils. You must mean MSD.

Yep, an MSD Blaster II is what has started leaking fluid around the top seam on mine now.
That's disappointing, given the low miles and such. I must be "cooking" it with too low a resistance
from the ballast (Mopar electronic ignition and older orange box).

I just ordered and installed one from him a week or two ago. Good price and shipped the same day I ordered it. "THE MOST RELIABLE ECU ON THE PLANET!" If that's true, I'll be a happy camper.

Is the Ehrenberg HiRev 7500 ECU compatible with the Mopar coil 2495531 shown below?

What ballast resistor should be run with this ECU and coil (below, if it is compatible)? .5, .7, .8 Ohm or higher?

With mopar coil 2444242 ballast resistor .5 to .6 ohms.
