Wow. Thanks. No part number on this one.

Thanks tnfastback. Done. Thanks. I love FBBO.

Yours giving up the ghost, Dennis?

Yep. It quit. Been in abut 15 years. Cut out the battery with engine running. Quit instantly. Been trickling on and off for weeks.

The engine will not make a big diff on alternator selection really, like the equipment on car. I always advice to get one able to source on 45-50 amps iddling at least. These use to be on 80-90 output rate. The more the better but no less than that. 55-60 ( 100 amps rate ) could be ideal if your car is really being driven even on nights and you can find traffic, rain and you got AC. You can get more if you want, since your car will take just the load it needs, never the max load. But on a mostly stock car and handly some regular upgrades those are my recomended output rates.

powermaster alts are based on the revised squareback alt versions which are a bit wider ( couple of mms ) and in some engine setups could get a bit of clearence issues requiring a bit of trimming on rear alt spacer &/or longer belt to sway the block on rear of alt ( it was my case using a stock 80s alt replacement ) . As far I have told latelly and wanting stock look TuffStuff alts are the way to go, based on earlier squareback versions.

94 amp rating IIRC. Usually run with headlights, ac, HP stereo, don’t know what the efi needs beyond the electric pump.

Coming from Nevada, it’s already in Sacramento!

7019 puts out 95 amps and uses a round back case. I just purchased one for my project.

I'm pretty sure you won't get the one on pic but the revised version case ;). Unless they changed the models they make.

I never have seen the EFI amps requirement, but I think will be around 6-8 amps tops.

EDITING:

it seems they NOW make the correct look earlier cases, even round back with high output!!! that's nice!!!

AND NICE PRICED!

Mostly original with an additional several miles of cluster wires with unknown destinations. M&H on the shelf if spontaneous combustion doesn’t happen first.

The price from the company in your link is roughly half the price of Jegs and Summit. Gets me a little nervous. Have you dealt with them before ?

$147.99 from Summit shipping from Sparks.

No, just googled the alt pn and came that one, and another one on similar price rate

Never exceed the amp rating of the electrical harness wiring. Grounds and connections must be in good condition.

Must be according with car and acc load demands, not with alt output actually, except if your car will require all the alt output juice, which tipically is not. This has been discussed largely in several threads.

It’s been reading 11.8 on idle. But, thats on the tablet that came with the Edelbrock EFI. Not sure of its accuracy. It would change off-idle so I thought alt was working.
