I have a love for 64 Dodges. I hope to own one before I tip over permanently. I have asked others what is the last car you want to own before they take your license away? For me it's a 64 Dodge. Any of the mid size models, Polara,440 or 330. Post up photos of yours or your favorites. Feed my frenzy! Thanks. This one is so clean. The wheels set off the chrome and although the color may be considered bland, it's a very attractive combination.

I've owned many Mopars over the years. My all time favorite that I would like to have again is a 63 Valiant 2 door sedan.
I never should have sold this one.I have said many times that for some reason you like the car you have now but for some reason you are always looking...

Sorry the Valiant isn't a 64 Dodge. So I will share these with you.

Got my first MoPar classic about 3 months. I love it!

One of my favorite mopars! Here's the window sticker from my elder, departed cousin. He talked his dad into co-signing on this brand new Polara at just 18 years old. He raced this car around drag strips in IL/IN/WI winning many trophies. His daughter kept all this memorabilia and wondered whatever might of happened to this special Dodge. I tried to do some hunting with the VIN; but no luck. Who knows? Crashed? Rusted to chit? Parted out for the motor/drive train? Comical story on how he convinced his dad to get this car since he had just bought a new Sport Fury a few months earlier! Well, dad took the Plymouth over as his daily ride and sold his Olds Starfire.

That's a great story

Last year in high school I found a '64 Polara 500. Bought it from a guy who was using it to haul stuff back and forth to his truck patch. Paid $125 for it and drove it home. I was going to use it as a field car (living on a large farm) but the more I looked at it I realized what great shape it was in. Cleaned it up, got it inspected and drove it for about three years. I drove it to work during the week and to the track on the weekends. Black, black, black, dark tinted glass all around and a ton of chrome.

I found a set of Cragar SS, had 50 series under the back. Pulled the heads off the 383 and replaced them with a set that had "the works" done to them. Replaced the stock cam with a performance cam, four bll. and intake. Found a set of used headers. Replaced the 8 3/4 with a Dana, 456 ratio (that really woke that 383 up). Had the car in the low thirteens all day long. Really had a lot of fun with that car.

It looked just like this one minus the hood scoop.

I had the 727. Great looking interior with the console.

Here's mine. Bought it many years ago after it came up here from Texas. Was a 4 door originally. Finally did the 2 door conversion 6 or so years back. Good running poly with automatic and nice sounding dual exhaust. Put a new set of SS springs under it a few years back to get the rear up a little. (Hate air shocks) Still need to finish the interior, but sure have fun driving it!
