I understand e-coat is a rustproof coat to protect bare metal, how to you guys treat the e-coat?
Scuff the e-coat and paint over or remove e-coat and then paint?

thanks, J

Use that only after the job is totally done. Not through the prep paint process

Yup got it

cavity wax
Yup. Not for what you think its for. :) I work with a dyke here. She would use it to slide on the floor. :D
it comes in a gallon can. With a nozzle. Spray it in all the hard to reach places. Doors ,a pillars, inner quarters. It prevents any moisture from entering those areas , it acts as protection against and rust in the seams.
