Does anyone reproduce a vin tag if all the body numbers and door tag match?

Yes, Datatags.com and several others. Some require proof of ownership. Most will not assist you in determining how the tag should be laid out, rather you send them what you want and how you want it and thats what they make. This along with the font is the "secret sauce" of the tags, meaning that how the tag is laid out and the font are what people look for in determining fakes, copies, repops, etc (whatever you want to call them).

Despite what some will tell you, it is not illegal to have a tag made, but some will say it is wrong and bitch about it but at the end of the day people do it all the time to include the high end resto guys (and of course they would never add an option that didn't come on the car originally..)

By the way, get ready for the **** storm that is about to happen reference this subject...

I think he is asking about the dash VIN tag, and it sounds like you are talking about the fender tag? If I'm mistaken, please just disregard me.

Oh, you are probably right... I saw tag and thought he was talking about a fender tag.. my bad!!

Seen guy on ebay that makes them for older door post cars.

He's in the Netherlands, he can do what he wants with us vin tags. For a us resident, however, replacing a vin tag yourself is a state (in some cases) and federal felony, with a few exceptions.
To get a legal vin if you have title, and all body numbers match, you have to go through your state's dmv/dot, whatever it's called.

They look nice.. wondering why I went to all that work to restore mine. I think the dry transfer from ECS cost as much! LOL

Thats pretty cool, I got a blank data tag for my 52 B3B from Poland, is very nice as the original one was eligible.
