I’m trying to re do the drum breaks on my 66 Satellite but can’t find what size the drum is anywhere. Anyone know?

Intro yourself on the Welcome Wagon and show us the car and give us a few specifics like engine size, transmission, rearend. If you don't know we can probably identify by pictures.
Welcome from Alabama. I'm a 66-67 fan so show and tell, please!

Likely 10" X 2"
Like Jerry said enter a welcome wagon post

Sorry, there, Don, there IS NO such thing as 10" x 2".....

If it is a small block car, it IS 10" x 2 1/2" Front & Rear.....
If it is a Big Block car, it IS 11" x 3" in the Front, &
11" x 2 1/2" in the Rear....

I have everything for you --- Brand New & U.S.A. made....
The Master Cylinder, the Wheel Cylinders, the Brake Shoes in ++ N.O.S. ++ Asbestos --- the softest smoooooothest brake system ever invented, the brake hoses, the emergency brake cables, the wheel bearings & seals, & the Brake Drums......

Life is good..... P.M. me, I will give you my phone number & you can call..... We can't put phone numbers
out here in the threads as per forum rules.....
Yours, Craig......

Mine is a 383 car and they are 10" all the way around.
All you need is a tape measure.

My 69 383 B body was 10" all around brakes until I swapped to disc. Like Don said above, a tape measure, pull the rear drum and check it.

There are plenty of big block cars with 10X2 1/2" brakes on all 4 corners.

383s were on the cusp....
10" vs 11" depending on which factory, and which assembly line it came down.....
318, etc. ---- always 10" x 2 1/2" Front & Rear...
440 ---- always 11" x 3" Front & 11" x 2 1/2" Rear....

383s could have gone either way, as indicated...

I have a original 67 GTX with 10X2 1/2 brakes, and 2 Hemi 4-speed cars with 10X2 1/2" brakes on the rear. Sorry I don't know where you got that information.

Mine's a small block with 11 x 2.5" on the rear...not sure on the front as I swapped them to discs.
As someone advised, pull a drum and measure.

OK folks 1966-67 B-body brakes:

A factory front power disc brake car has 10x2.5” rears.

A standard Brake car has 10x2.5” all around, including 383 4bbl engines.

Optional HD brakes all cars Are 11x3” front and 11x2.5” rear. Manual adjusters. This is standard on 426 hemi and 67 440HP Coronet R/T Charger & GTX. Even a slant 6 could have these optional big brakes.

This does not depend on which factory, assembly line or build date. 383 is not on the cusp of anything.

So now 54 years later things get swapped and converted so you may not have the originals.
