Will daylight-saving time finally last 365 days per year?

I already get up at 04:30. I'll just get up at 03:30 instead.

It shouldn't be hard for people and businesses to adjust their schedules.

I agree it shouldn't but many companies that I do service on equipment for don't want me in plant before 0900... So if 0900 is an hour earlier it's better for me...

I don't know about ya'll but I say this..."If it Ain't Broke, Then don't Fix It." Leave it one way and one way only!!! My Circadian Rhythm is so screwed up anyway from 27.5 years of flying, jumping time zones and the international dateline, that at times I didn't know what clock I was living in. Now that I have gotten it back to some degree of natural order, I don't get all screwed up. Still at times, I get up too damned early...prefer 6 to 6:30am...and my whole day is a mess. I like to sleep and when they keep screwing with the clocks and time, I am a basket case wreck for a week until I settle in to the change...cr8crshr/Bill:realcrazy::realcrazy::realcrazy::usflag::usflag::usflag:

I refuse to set my clocks back this year, I've had enough of 2020 and don't need to live another hour of it! I just want it over with!!!

I'm ready for it to be over, but...

it really needs to be half way between xST and DST.

That would help mitigate the issue of being dark by 8: 00 pm or still dark at 8:00 am during those times of the year.

Personally I hate daylight savings time. The thought of coming home after work and rushing to get stuff done before it's dark just plain sucks. Being in New England I have about an hour before it's dark. What daylight am I saving?

What are your working hours? You have more daylight in the afternoon /evening on DST.

I'm all for that, fall back a half hour and lock it in. Everybody gets a little of what they want.

I get out of work around 4 and sun goes down around 5. Setting the clocks back doesn't work for me.

Our FL congress reps have done a lot of work on this.

You guys in other states got anything to bring to the table?

Standard time is setting the clocks back. You should like DST?
Oh, do I have it backwards? Sorry. I don't like getting out of work and it's getting dark. I don't care if it's dark in the morning.

You had it backwards, but now you are properly edumacated.....

An early sundown sucks ***.
When late October comes and the switch back is looming, it feels like a big bill is coming due. One day the daylight in the afternoon is there, the next day it is pitch black at the same time. I hate it. I like being outdoors doing stuff. In the Winter, I can look at the clock at 8:00 PM and feel as if it is already midnight because I've been inside for 3 hours looking out at dark skies.
It is worse when I have worked jobs out of town. Getting up in the dark, getting home when it is dark. An 8 hour shift with a 2 hour commute results in a 5-5:30 time getting home. The only time I see the house in daylight is on the weekends.
