Are you a cheap bastard?

My trash service sells stickers to put on extra bags if you have more than will fit in the can. Photocopying and taping them to the bag works also.

I'm so cheap that I'll always peal off unstamped stamps on incoming mail and reuse them on outgoing mail.
So funny that you mention this. I’ll do the same but I was in the post office yesterday and there was a big sign explaining that it was a federal offense to either clean off the stamp or to reuse stamps that did not get printed on. Lol

I'll buy store brand products and use coupons, but have a lifetime supply of NOS Mopar contact points.

I will do stuff like peel off and reuse stamps, recycle bottles, save empty jars to reuse, etc. and yet I pee through money.
I’ve bought lunch or supper for random strangers in restaurants, give money sometimes to bums on the street, and have spent enough on our house full of rescue cats to finance the space program.
But I do, and taught our child to, pick up every penny, nickel or dime I see on the street. I think that stuff comes from having parents that survived the depression.

My Grandpappy use to say all the time “If it’s free Junior, it’s worth saving up fur!”
Here’s the new pup, Fleabag, picking cotton fur his own bed.
I even got to pick out the switch when I’s was about to get whooped back in the day.

I dilute liquid hand soap and washing detergent....and stick the bar soap together when the one that's in use gets too thin to use anymore. The list is long and have always been that way and got that way even more once I moved away from home. Always had food on the table and a roof to sleep under but mom used to sew patches on the knees of my play clothes and sometimes wore them to school. I remember seeing that I wasn't the only one at school like that either. I do remember never getting an allowance and mom and dad fighting about the money. Being frugal is serving me pretty well again....
