Need some help, I am restoring a 1970 Hybrid GTX/Roadrunner with a 440 CI, Torqueflight Auto trans and Dana 3:54 pose Rear end. I currently have two supposedely B Body Driveshafts one slightly shorter then the other for the car.
Does any one know the correct length needed for the drivetrain I described. Note, the car was originaly a Satellite 318 CI with a torqueflight auto trans and stock rear axle.

With Dana 50.39" with 8 3/4" 51.5"
Okay, I measured Center of U joint to center of U joint. one driveshaft measured 55 1/2 " and is slightly larger in diameter with very little taper at the splined end.
The 2nd driveshaft measured at 51.5 ". The rear axle chunk when I purchased it at Carlisle had a paper tag which read 741 Case, 3.55 Cone Suregrip. Note it bolted right into my Dana housing. Sounds like I need to go with the shorter shaft smaller in diameter at 51 1/2 inches.
Anyone know what the longer Mopar drive shaft might go to becasue down the road I will be selling all my extra parts?

If you bolted a 741 case into your housing, you definitely do not have a "Dana housing" but rather an 8 3/4"
