$329,000.00 Road Runner for sale (not mine)

Nice, for those that are not familiar with my two Hemi car's history. When I purchased my 66 Belvedere II I knew it wasn't the original engine it ended up being the engine for the 71 Roadrunner, i chased down many leads but finally found the car - purchased it and reunited the RR with its numbers engine. During this process I also found leads that led me to the original engine and trans for my 66 Belvedere I so ended up with two original Hemi cars.

That's freaking outstanding - and rare as hen's teeth. What great stories!

Those are both Wellborn Museum cars and recognized as the pinnacle of their respective model. Non sequitur.
Key word here is "were", I'm afraid. Tim sold a bunch of cars off at auction and broke my heart in the process.
Bucket list item for me was to visit his place in AL and see cars like these....

You would have been heart broken anyhow Ed, as neither of these cars were in the museum or his private bar/garage at the mansion a year ago. They were hidden elsewhere.. No sunroofs at the museum and one in the bar..

You really should still go!
It's a great experience with uniquely awesome cars, and Tim and Pam are good people! I actually took a quick look at his theater room when I was there at his house for a Mopars At The Museum event (my Roadrunner was on the Detroit Muscle show that covered it because the project car "Hard Charger" was featured at the event and I had parked next to it. They had just got it roadworthy after buying it and made the trip to Wellborn!)
The Detroit Muscle Charger is the blue one parked next to my Lemon Twist car.
