No, it's "Steel Tile", full length formed sheets from Barrie Ontario. I was injection moulding his snow stops and he owed me about $25,000 for tooling and parts and I got even.. LOL...

well so far two estimates third guy walked away didn't like my questions what a difference in quotes so far waiting for five more all for metal figured with my age now and my two bad knees let someone else do ,wife had a fit because I was up there looking at what needed to be done

I used to call car salesman land sharks now I will add roofers to that list boy the line of bull **** they come up with

well out of ten company 4 showed up one it took forever to get him and he looked measured took pictures and said he would email me a est. haven't heard a word from him called his company he said he would mail it right its now 3 weeks no est. now the first guy came in real high on both and he doesn't like metal roofing period ,second guy came in even higher but does metal roofing I liked this guy and his est. its high but the quality is there third came in does both he is good also but he didn't figure in using guard going down just want to put synthetic felt down , doing home work and looking at homes and pole barns done in metal roofing why does most of these guys want to use 29 gauge metal I want at least 25 gauge with ice guard on the whole roof not just 3 foot up

because 29 ga is so much easier to work with (faster)

Around here 26 ga is $.20 a lenear ft cheaper,or even more in some retail metal stores. Bought some today from a Houston Mexican metal store, 26 ga was $.80 cheaper than Mueller )retail) tore. R panel. Galvalume. I call a business that makes their metal roofing from the roll a store.
Yes quality and Warranty? Ha!, on painted metal will vary.
They make metal roofing expressly for homes.

well finally got both roofs done and soffits and gutters with gutter guards very good crew and a very good job job happy as hell just sorry that I didn't go with the metal roof that I wanted

I went with metal...this is on a cabin in the woods. The Only down side is I lost cell signal, $150 later I have a booster and cell service is back better than before. ( sorry if I already posted this)

the bottom of the pyramid (when they top out the house/buildings)
of subcontractors
lots of shysters out there

shop around
caveat emptor/buyer beware

It's not uncommon to raise prices during a material shortage
but tripling or quadrupling it (along with their labor) is crazy

We did metal other month. Price of materials has been thru the roof, but lumber is down and n metal is still high. Metal is the way to go in the country.
