Drag link on my 68 GTX is rubbing oil pan...
New Idler arm looks shorter than Pitman
Is there a drag link with more clearance ?
Maybe oversized oil pan?

check the rubber motor mounts.
On my '71, flipping the center link end for end cleared up the problem.

Pics don’t show too well but idler looks shorter than pitmanif I remember correctly there are a number of idler arms that will fit but not give you full clearance
A fast ratio pitman arm can be another cause
