I agree, my Durango is the first car I've owned that I didn't have totally de-badged before picking up.Lots of dealer emblems back then were screwed or riveted on. Personally, I would have been pissed if I bought a brand new car and the dealership drilled holes in it.
That's exactly what I told the dealer when I bought my 1st Road Runner. Only new car I ever bought.Lots of dealers notorious for that. A friend of mine ordered a new 66 GTO and he told them that if they drilled holes in his trunk they could keep the car.
My 2000 Durango had a license plate frame from the Dealer...Crown Dodge but they had a good rep and my buddy gave me a great deal on it so I left it on. He also gave me a trailer hitch cover that had the oval Crown logo so I took the plate frame off....but then some moron rear ended the Durango and broke it.I agree, my Durango is the first car I've owned that I didn't have totally de-badged before picking up.
