I have a 1969 Valiant, a 1970 Cuda, and a 1976 D100. I will more than likely be getting a B-body at some point in the future so I decided to get an account here. I am already on every single other Mopar forum so what the heck!

I am in San Diego, CA. I am looking to connect with people in the So Cal area and really enjoy the Chrysler Performance West Fall and Spring Flings. I am Cartman405 on instagram.

Currently, I am going through the suspension on the Valiant and have a T56 Magnum ready to go. The 340 based stroker is at the machine shop. Really excited about this car as it is going to be a full tilt autocrosser.

There's a lot more going on but, hey, I'm just trying put in a first post. I'll pretty much be lurking in the For Sale section looking for universal parts for now or occasionally asking questions my Dad might have about B-bodies, He is the B-body guy. I've always been partial to E's and A's.

Welcome aboard from Ohio.

Hey, also just bought Andy Finkbeiner's B-body book. It's a must for anyone who hasn't already bought it.

Welcome aboard Sir, from the middle of the mitten.

I would be really interested in meeting up and also checking out the deceased fellas parts. If there is a 340 or 360 I would really like to come up on that. My D100 has a really tired 318.

Do you go to any of the Sat. cruises? I've been to one in Santee and it was pretty cool to see some nice Mopar A-bodies representing the Pentastar.

Love Sonora! I spent some time there. Loved that little place called Hotshots on the main drag. The Hotshot Tots were my favorite.

I was stationed there back in the 70's, (Amphib Base) had a girlfriend who sold real-estate... She tried & tried to convince me I could/should buy a Condo there..... Wish I'd been brave enough to listen.... I didn't see how I could ever afford $100K.... My folks had bought a house 4 years earlier for $27K... $100K seemed nuts... It was allot of $$$ but that same Condo today is $1.7 million...

Then again she tried to convince me to sail to Fiji with her... She was way more of a risk taker than me.... And probably has had a pretty exciting life...

I was there in 2003 for training and ended up marrying a Coronado girl. We went on three dates and ended up proposing. Married 17 years now. Moved back after my Iraq deployment in 2010 and got out in 2011. Went to college and moved away in 2018. Now living on the Cleveland National Forest and work as a wildland firefighter.

It was great duty... Didn't appreciate just how good it was at the time... Young & dumb...

Another near by great place...

There's a Mopar guy named Steve VanderSchaaf in the Vista area.. He too came to the area for the Navy & stuck around... Had a 68 Hemi SuperBee & a 70 Challenger R/T Vert.... Now he's driving a blue HellCat..
