440 4bbl, auto, A/C console. RS 23 UOG 106*** $24,000 obo Pueblo, CO
As close to a survivor as you are likely to find today. The motor and trans are original.
The only major work done to date is a complete engine and trans rebuild, brakes, shocks, balljoints, u-joints,fuel tank and lines. Car is complete with many extras. List and photos to follow.
Make no mistake, this is a PROJECT. body is rusty and will need many panels, including all floors, trunk pan and roof, rockers, plus all the usual suspects. Hood and deck lid are usable and patch panels can save quarters and fenders. Interior will need total restore. console is complete but broken. front Glass is deeply scored, 2 rear glass included, bumpers need restore or replace.

I don't think it can be saved......Vinyl roof trapped alot of moisture during the years it sat outside before i bought it.
I suppose it all comes down to skill level and time.....I've seen some amazing fabrication and repairs. MANY holes....after dipping i think it would look like screen.

AMD was making roof panels.

Cool car! Greetings from a neighbor in Pueblo West

Do I understand correctly it is running and driving? How many miles have you put on?

Thanks.

Hi neighbor:
About 8 miles....took it to alignment shop. Not drivable now....no interior, glass is out. I run it every couple months to keep it lubed. It has electrical issues at the bulkhead connector-no surprise there-original wiring- so I start it under the hood.

Help....I see a couple of typos in my listing. How can I edit it now?

i have a buyer.....as soon as I have cash in hand I will mark this as sold. Should be Sat., Jan 16th, 2021

on ebay the last advertised price was 21k $
You asked here on the board before: WIW
May I ask what the outcome is?

50 years ago I had a 69 GTX. Best car I ever owned. It was f8 green also. Later I had a 70 Barracuda 383. Not nearly as nice. Jmo.

OK here's the skinny.....I sold the car for $17,000. I get the feeling that this could be a quick flip.....not sure.
The buyer just didn't seem to ask the questions that a guy who was gonna work on the car would ask. Sorta feel like he may have someone in his pocket that wants a survivor....and maybe this was a steal. Not like it's a super rare car, but survivors with the drive train intact are getting hard to find.

Matters not to me. I got what I needed and the car is moving on towards resurrection..... which has always been my goal. I rescued it from outdoor storage in a bad environment and worked to preserve value. Either way I sold it to somebody who knows Mopars and I am confident that it will have a happy life. I intend to follow up on the car in the future, and I am going to update previous owners. I was thinking I might shop for a nice driver, but since I now live 11 miles from the nearest paved road, maybe I will just give my '85 W350 a little more love.

Thanks again for the input and encouragement. This is a GREAT web site.
