Looks like #5 & #6 have arrived...

Prayers from over here on the Nolichucky Ed. I find your attitude inspiring. That's half the battle.

Stay strong my friend, as a I know that you are. Glad to hear that you are home already. Just focus on Fred and your family. As always, prayers sent your way!
God bless ya. I appreciate it. :)

Prayers your way Ed, hope the recovery time is fast.
Sorry you got to deal with this again.

Good luck Ed. Hope all goes well and they get it on the first dig. I had one come up on the top of my nose. That's a great place to dig around for more but I was lucky and they didn't take too much. Ya I have a scar but I wasn't pretty to start. Just another battle scar! Damn cancer! We didn't have SPF 50 when I was growing up. You got sunburned, blistered and peeled and went on with life. Now it is rearing it's ugly head.

Y...you'll just have a hard time convincing me of why He bothers
with the likes of me. :)

Ed, it's easy from where I sit: You inspire people positively. You make a difference in the world simply by your attitude and the way you handle things.

Hang tough - we are all with you!

Hawk

Thanks my friend. Not the first, won't be the last.

They're actually still debating whether sunblock helps. Heck, it HAS to, right?

Thanks brother, but I just don't see an alternative. Sometimes stubborn pays off, I guess. :)
It is sort of odd that this sort of thing has happened enough as to seem kind of routine, though.
That ain't right...but that's sort of the way it feels at the moment.

If you have to get skin cancer, basal cell carcinoma is the one you want (least serious of all). I've had 2 removed from my shoulder and 1 from my cheek. No scarring at all. The thought is scary, but hang in there Ed, you'll be just fine.

I'm not in the Desert SW, and I'm not helping you get up a trip to the promised land, but you want to drive a Hemi 4-speed come on down to Alabama and I will treat you to that.

My money is on you Ed ! I am sure it sucks to hear the diagnosis ...again. Keep doing what you're doing, you have a great track record ! Prayers to you and your family and Happy Holidays !

well that sucks

good luck

Yeah, my first dance with this particular brand of it was in 2011 - and because I ignored it for a couple years,
it wound up being 14 stitches inside and 20 outside, leaving me with a cool scar from behind the ear lobe downwards...
They reamed me pretty good on that one, since time matters a lot on the effects of the stuff on you.
There was even some speculation that it might have contributed to the deadly serious cancers to follow
when they were discovered afterwards, but who knows for sure?

Lord, God bless ya Jerry, that's so generous of you man!

Ummm....you meant on the Talledega track, right? :D

Stay strong Ed!
Stay tuff. Had colon cancer in 2006. I feel what you are going through.
Praying for you in VA. Wishing you and your family the best in 2021!

Look at all you guys, humbling me yet again. I swear, this place...:luvplace:
God love every one of you...thank you! :)

You know, I've been accused in the past of digging for attention when I make these posts - and who knows,
maybe that's part of it, I dunno - but I've long since come to the conclusion that it's very therapeutic or
cathartic to do so and since I ain't proud, well why the heck not?
It's sort of my way of writing in a journal, only exposed to the world for maximum embarrassment.
Besides, my misadventures do seem to entertain some of you, so there is that too...

If anything else, maybe one day another soul reads one of these and can identify in some small
way and it brings them a bit of peace that they aren't so alone with whatever is troubling them:
"Hey, lookit THAT guy! Heck, I got nothing to fuss about in comparison. Besides, he's dumb enough to
WRITE about it to boot!"

Ed, I have found that writing ( even though not professionally) Is good therapy for the mind. Not always do some folks agree with what you say, but that's OK in my book. Sometimes on face book, when they ask "what' s on your mind?".... I tell em !.....................MO
