Playing here and have learned a few things....
First off, the computer can play perfect pool. lol. I mean, multi bank, multi ball shots that sink two and three balls. But, when you start out it gives you chances by clearly missing on purpose.
Until.
You prove you can run the table ....THEN, it takes off the training wheels. After that you better run the table from the break. Or, if it does miss, you better not **** up or it will win.
Lots of fun and good practice. Pressure to run the table is high.

8 Ball Billiards Classic - Play 8 Ball Billiards Classic on Crazy Games
This is me playing the computer. lol....an example of it's craft...i won that game.

I like it....I won the first two games....not won since!! That should fill in some quiet hours at work!!!
That was not the game I was expecting....that game is what we call Pool (or 8 ball pool)....billiards is a very different game...on a full sizes snooker table with only three balls....but I think you call that English Billiards.

Well as far as computer games go, this one I could see myself using. But for the most part, I'm not really into any of them or being a "Gamer." cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

Nor am I, but, back in the day I was a champion pool player. Damn near unbeatable. I still love to play but there's no hall near me. Playing against a computer gives me good practice...lol. Bastard is really good.

I was decent at Pool, won way more than lost
We always had a pool table, always growing up
(b-ball hoop, handball, ping pong table & dart boards too)
from my youngest day into my late 30's

Fortunately haven't needed to move one for the past 2 moves
1997 & 2007, thank goodness
I don't have one, don't really have room either & don't play now
use to do a lot of stuff around a pool table
use to entertain a lot too

(we had a Monday Night Football Party every week, at my place,
whether it was football season on not, about a dozen people or more
with TV's in every room, garage smoking area & outback/poolside
shared with good friends, mostly my dealership buds, for about 20 years,
almost always a pool or dart game going on
)

I use to also have a really huge shop/warehouse, big 5 car garage
3500 sqft 5 bedroom house & a nice swimming pool & sauna,
a nice wet bar too, with a huge den, a great place for a pool table
& I don't have any of them now either

So playing again today. The freaking computer does three banks to place the target ball dead center in front of the pocket and the cue ball goes two more banks to end up barely kissing that ball and tipping it into that pocket. Never touching ANY of the seven I need to sink.... It's like it's taunting me. It could have just sunk the damn ball with the first three banks but NOOOO....it has to do more just to be fancy..How the hell do I defend against that sort of accuracy? Plus it then leaves itself a perfect position for the next fantastic shot..Sigh. AND....lol. I can win two games in a row if I don't miss and run the table from the break. Not three though, It will screw up the cue speed and the cue ball dribbles along or it will leave me with no shot, no matter what, no banks no English nothing. Forces me to miss a shot and then it runs the table on me. ******.

And it always chooses solids. Never the high balls unless it's forced to. Even if it sinks three high balls on the break. One of my old tricks. It's like it knows me...lol.

I play the one on Facebook games - it's available as a stand-alone app, so I do that.
You play against other actual humans from all over the world that way.
I usually keep a couple million "dollars" in my bank and play for $30k pots in tournaments.
An amazing time killer when you need one...

At one point 15 years or so ago, I wound up an administrator at MyLeague, the largest organized
game league system online with about 20 million participants.
My game was the old Yahoo pool, long since extinct now - and again, no actual money involved,
just an amazingly huge network of people all over the world.
It was pretty cool, back when the net was still a novelty and not all harsh like it is now.

LOL!!! I finally figured out why the computer has been nearly flawless. I had the skill level of the computer set as high as it goes. Basically like a professional tournament player skill level. No wonder I had to run the table every time to win. lol. I don't feel so bad now....:eek::D

Those tables all have perfect bumpers, perfect felt and are perfectly level, too.
