Buying a new car

Jesus Chrysler! I thought that open front passenger door on the Charger was the back of a pickups camper. The doorhandle being a Nissan logo or some such. I’ll get my eyes checked. Sorry bout that.

Holy crap! So did I. Looked like a pickup with a cap on the back.

The price you pay, to play!!

Thinking outside the box a little here...have you considered a vasectomy ? :poke:

:D

Yes after baby gets here I'm scheduling it!
Shame no boy but oh well not doing this again . My cousin wanted a girl she ended up with 5 boys ! My luck I'd get a a ton of girls

Ok I bought a car today!
I ordered a mazda cx-9 in from tampa 2017 53k $23999
Well I hated everything about it they changed it in 2016 and ruined it my wife's 2015 Isa ton better! So I told them to stick it somewhere
Looked at a few there (car max) left as they were all crap.
Went to the chevy dealer that had a good price on a used chrysler pacifica well no van in site said it sold months ago they didn't pull listing!
They tried selling me some other junk I left!
Went next door to the dodge dealership found out really quick the chrysler pacifica was very much out of price range! So looked around they had a loaded grand caravan 2019 with 33000 miles for $26900
The guy said he could get the price lower on it so I drove it I actually liked it it was very nice and easy to use . Went in for negotiation the said $26000 out doori said bye have a nice day ! They said ok where do you wanna be I said $19000 -$20000 out the door .
Back And forth a bit they came down to $24000 out the door I said nope I got to go I said I'm at a hard $20000 limit they tried showing me a cheaper one that they just took in I didn't like it said ok $20k or I'm out guy said they can't they would be at brake even ! I said oh well a push is better then a loss
....
$24k was there number I told him try $20k one more time he said give me something to work with ! I said fine throw in the certified pre-owned warranty 10year 100000 mile bumper to bumper free towing !
I'll go $21000 he gave me this look like f u

Told him ask the owner not the sales manager
At that point my little darling daughter said marry Christmas to some old man that looked like Santa and asked for some toys .
Guy says she's the sweetest thing he ever saw .
Come to find out he was the owner and that little thing made him give me the car for $21000 out the door said he can't have that sweet baby riding in a old ratty ford truck she needs a nice mopar !
I said gee thanks how about that hell cat out front instead then!
He gave the baby a pink jeep hat And told her merry Christmas! Very nice guy they detailed it out and went and filled up the gas tank !
So yeah I bought a van ! But it's freaking amazing!
And one year old only ! I'll get pictures tomorrow it's dark out .
Thanks for the input guys it was helpful!!!!

ohhh yeah...Dodge Caravans rock...all the upgrades on my 1966 Coronet were with goal in mind of making it as good as my Caravan minus the ability to haul sheets of drywall..

i see you got Red as well...thats a speeding ticket waiting to happen...

Congrats!

I've got 1 girl and would love more... There's a special bond between a father and daughter that can't be found elsewhere so consider yourself lucky lol.

Regarding northern rust, our 2014 Town and Country seems to be impervious to rust thus far with 120,000 miles on it. We don't get as much snow as NY but we do get plenty here in Ohio.

That said it's been an awesome vehicle, no complaints whatsoever. Only thing I've had to fix was that goofy oil filter/oil cooler assembly under the intake, it sprang a leak from one of the O rings... easy enough fix though.

Did you ever think about leasing one? Usually you can get a deal about this time of year with mileage package to fit your needs. Cheaper to get and new vehicle with warranty. Some deals are zero dollars out of pocket initially.

Glad you got the mopar van,
They are dependable and safe. Excellent all around choice for the family.

Leasing is very much like renting an apartment in my opinion. At the end you don’t have any value. Also lease fees to consider.

I agree leasing is quite useless in my opinion ! I don't want to throw money away and have nothing at end! Just like a house rental! I see a benefit if your not planning on staying somewhere or you have more money then you know what to do with and don't want to be bothered with a older car!
But me I'm a fan of owning stuff . I've never rented anything in my life ! I had a mortgage once I didn't quite like having a payment so I payed my house off !

I am debit free and I'm keeping it like that . And I own a rental property witch is good income (if I get payed) I noticed people like to live beyond there means and sadly some get burned!
I could of bought a nicer newer or cooler car but in the end I wanted safe reliability and savings this van will be with me for many years as I don't drive much !
I'll sell my old truck and put that money back in safe and no one can take my stuff away !
