Most of you might think I’m an idiot but I’d really like to make my charger push start. A hidden killswitch for power to the button and a button that would push once for accessory and push again/hold for starting. Not needing to have a fob in range. Just trying to make it so I don’t have to carry keys.

Has anybody done this or know how I’d have to wire it for each of the wires coming to the factory ignition?

I'm interested in doing this on my '69 RR. Put the button right where the ignition switch is. Basically all you need is a switch to energize the system and a bump start button.

I have not formed an opinion yet. What are your political beliefs?

Kidding, of course.
With your car NOT having locking ignition, this is relatively simple. The trouble could be IF someone that knows you are sees you activate the hidden "switch" could easily steal the car later.
What would you do about the door locks?

Nice car Stanton! Yeah that’s what I’m thinking.

Haha Kern! I shaved the doors so no worries there. I’m not worried about theft or anything honestly. The car is never really out of my site and if they want it that bad to figure out how to get the doors open and then turn it on they can have it lol. This car has been such a pain I half love it half hate it . I just don’t know how to correctly hook up all the wires that are on the factory ignition to a new button without messing something up.

Commenting so I can follow along. I've been considering this too.
