I posted comments on FB about this car. If condition is true? I've seen worse buys than this guy.

4 speed car with a 22" radiator. I don't think so. No Dana, and not a 26" radiator car. Looks like an automatic car with a 4 speed conversion. Not that this is necessarily a terrible thing, buyer just needs to be aware.

Oh yeah. Amoug other concerns. Have to be diligent on any purchase.

I believe standard radiator would have been 22" unless an axle package had been chosen
and/or a/c.
My '68 came with a 22" stock due to the 3.23 rear and no a/c.

DownZero? You disagree? You haven't seen worse buys than this GTX listed? I think you have?

4 speed should have triggered axle package with dana..,.cooling pkg 26 inch radiator...... automatic 68 gtx could be 22 inch /83/4 rear

If originally a 4-speed. Every indication suggests it is a conversion?

Have. To view and inspect to confirm

says the previous owner
removed the Dana for easy gear changes
current 3.91:1 gears

wonder if the 18 spline trans is still there too

I'm not hating it

seen far worse for more $$$

albeit
says no rust car (north/midwest car I'm sure it has rust)
except for trunk floor is sketchy,
says the previous to the previous owner swapped

manual brakes & steering
sounds like a low option car

looks like & says org. carpet
looks like org. 4 speed trans hump
no console

Has alum. Edelbrock heads & Edelbrock intake
doesn't know what's in the internals, "it's a beast"

no fender-tag or build sheet

sounds like an atypical 52 y/o MoPar
ran hard & put away wet for 62k+ miles
etc. etc. etc.

The car isn't stock; it says so in the ad. I'm sure if it was a numbers matching type car it would be listed for no less than $55K. I think $32K is a great price for a fast (?) car that you can enjoy and not have to worry about its numbers matching pedigree...

I would call it a car with lots of original parts, lots of modifications. Not worth anywhere near that to me, but I'm livin' in the past.

Yup. Fred was originally an automatic and he got a 22" with 3.23 standard 8 3/4" SG.
