Cant find the info for these/. Have two of them. NOS from the dealer back in 94’. Thanks!
My guess is rear leaf spring shackles.
If I recall it's two per pin. From each side.I though if that and I’ll look tomorrow, was thinking they aren’t wide enough but I’ll double check
there is no mettle sleeve in them so i don't think so.LCA pivot ?
I thought the same thing, but due to the part number (2462052), they are '64ish and if the spring was not as wide as the bushing, it would be squeezed between the spring hangers. Since there is no inner/outer steel sleeve, I cannot think of anywhere else that they would go except for the rear leaf spring shackle bushings.there is no shoulder on those the leaf spring bushings are 2 hafe bushing but the shoulder stops the bushing from going to far.
You are correct and I thought of that just before I made this reply. Back to square one. Rubber tubes!there is no shoulder on those the leaf spring bushings are 2 hafe bushing but the shoulder stops the bushing from going to far.
Heater tube seals don't start out as thick as the used ones in the photo, they get that way once they've been compressed when installed in a car.... They get shorter & fatter... Kinda like me... LOL.. Anyway, just a suggestion...
72-97 B300 van wide rear shackle spacer.
That is why I said "ish". My '69 had a lot of 22..... The decade/year is when the part design started, but not the only year it was used. I just use it as a reference for inception. I checked Len Dawson, but he had no listing.@69Bee. I think it ends in 2062 but that doesn’t matter. I googled 2052 and also got no results. Good point about the number starting with 246 dating them to 64’ ish, but as we all know there are several parts on all our cars that came from early castings that are carried over year after year so I’m not sure I’d limit these to 1964 only.
@1WildR/T they are on the softer side with no steel in them. I’m Not thinking heater tube seals, they aren’t as thick and soft as those.
Sure would be good to figure it out..
Been a while since I looked at some of those, but I think they were made from foam, and these bushings look to be rubber to me.Kinda look like seals for the heater tubes, if so they should be allot softer than spring bushings...View attachment 1058221
It’s not the original application for that part since it has a 1964 part number. It’s just a coincidence that it was also used on 72-97 B300 vans.It looks like RemCharger has provided an answer (twice) but no one is paying attention...
