27million

Derek Chauvin is Guilty of Murder --- 8:46 of video Proves it -- and he had prior run ins with George Floyd, as fellow bouncers in a club.
Tua Thou stood guard and made sure no one could intervene and save his life.

No one can say George Floyd was an Angel, but think of
what you would think if you were handcuffed, and suffered asphyxiation from having a 19-time excessive force (complaints !!!! 40 time abuser !?!?)
Devil in Blue holding his knee on your airpipe....

Cops have too much power -- and NEED to be convicted of MURDER when it is so --- and maybe, just maybe, it will make for Justice on this planet....

27 Million ??? How much is your life worth ??? There IS NO apology when you KILL someone -- and no amount of prayer will bring a DEAD person back...
It truly is a travesty.... Cops MUST learn "De-escalation NOW....
All I will say is...

This sort of abject willingness to blindly excuse criminals for their behavior and arrest records is why we are where we are today. Floyd was a POS and he died because of the drugs in his system, NOT because of anything the police did to his sorry ***. He was a complete all around waste of materials and the planet is a better place because he's gone. The crap that is happening that is associated with the whole affair is just more liberal bleeding heart bullshit and people in charge running scared and throwing money at the issue instead of having a set of balls and calling a spade a spade.
Did he and the officer have a history? yep. Did that kill him? NO, it did not. That, makes any history totally irrelevant. Spend a day. or a night in the police's shoes and then tell me how you feel.....arm chair quarterbacks. If you have never had to defend yourself or others from a violent criminal actor or, had the job of placing a whacko like Floyd under arrest then shut up. You don't know squat.

Resisting arrest is not a constitutional right, it's a felony. There are cases where people are killed while complying to officers commands. This however is not one of them.

I suppose some would like to abolish police all together.
As foolish as those people are, some go even further and believe the federal government,
ANY centralized national government, are the only ones that should have authority to
enforce laws and keep the peace.

Anomalies aside, the reality of historical record proves just the opposite to be true.

Watch this for 16 minutes...

Everything the media didn't tell you about the death of George Floyd
The trial of Derek Chauvin is not an open-and-shut-case

Civil settlements were the biggest thorn in my side when I was an in house trucking company attorney. They never had anything to do with actual culpability, and trying to explain that to a million mile guy who got clipped by a Chicago dirt bag four wheeler looking to score a quick $25,000 sucked. But it was cheaper to pay the 25K than fight to determine the truth. Totally different standards for civil vs. criminal case. Incredibly higher in criminal. Will be curious to see courtroom outcome on this vs. the media. But it will be hard to get an impartial venue after all the media exposure.

Simple way to look at it is, two wrongs don’t make a right. I get that but I also know to shut my trap and do what the cop says because I don’t need anymore trouble. Plenty of bums with badges but it’s real simple don’t put yourself in harms way! Once a thug always a thug color doesn’t matter. But to fork out that kinda money is crazy. If I croak they are going to say well you earn x and you could work x years so boom there it is, lawyers get their cut and that’s it... I guess he made a good living being messed up.. Again I don’t agree with suffocating the man but if he would do as he is told would this have happened ? In the age of going against the cops what is going to happen it has to stop. Law and order are the key to society but if you look at the top all the way down to us there is no respect / enforcement unless it’s a blue collar guy. Two each their own but it sucks all the way around, one bad decision by one makes the entire organization of cops look horrible. I back the blue and men and women in all uniforms period. We are not perfect but don’t put yourself in harms way . God is the ultimate decision maker and I fear him more than anyone else, and I’ve done plenty wrong. IMO, I just want folks to respect each other like we used to... I feared dad more than the cops ( family members too) .. its all about respect and it’s quickly fading away... sorry guys my rant

As a truck driver I appreciate how you handle the situation with your drivers. That's one of the things that always bothered me about the profession. I have always said the 1 statistic they cant get on truckers is how many times we save a life by our driving skill.

I have a handful of friends who are or have been career police officers and I will say that your opinions of how Floyd should have been treated during his arrest don't count unless you have had the balls to put on the blue uniform and deal with hardened criminals on a daily basis. The people who protect us every day have no clue how the bad guy will react in an arrest situation, these criminals are desperate, high on drugs and are capable of anything including killing the cop who is trying to protect you from them. We just lost an officer last week, he went to a domestic disturbance call knocked on the door and the drunk asshole who just beat up his wife opened the door and shot the cop dead. So now you tell me...if you were that cops partner how would you deal with the next criminal call who is a violent man on drugs resisting arrest?? I would not want to be a cop this day and age but I'm damn glad others have the balls to do it!! Defund the police my ***, we need more funding for them. I have deep respect for the men in blue who protect us!!

I hesitate to post in this thread because there are valid arguments to both sides, but the one thing that I cannot understand and has not been addressed, is why in those 9 minutes, was Floyd not cuffed by one (or all) of the other three cops standing by? That would have prevented the need for the knee on his neck (for 9 minutes), his death, making a martyr out of a scum bag criminal, riots, 27M dollar payout, and charges against police. I hate to say it, but I think it's gonna be an up hill battle.

This was copied from Outlawd post. Why do we continue to hear about all the bad the police do, but hear so little of the bad done to them.
My prayers go out the that officers family

This cop that killed Floyd had it for him.
Something about a night club incident.
I don't care if he's a drug addiction or not. What that cop did was flat out wrong.

Except for the little FACT that HIS drug addiction IS what killed him not the cop Kneeling on the side of his neck(NOT THROAT)...

The thug was saying he couldnt breathe long before he was on the ground.
A classic symptom of a fentanyl oversose.
Autopsy report specifically stated he did NOT die from asphyxiation but from caediac arrest from a fentanyl overdose.
His body shut down.

Let's see how you do with a full force knee to your neck for almost 9 minutes.
LOL "full force" on the "side" of the neck, many can do 9 minutes easily as it's NOT THE THROAT...George said he Couldn't breathe 15 minutes before anyone touched him, While bad optics the officer HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH his death UNLESS you have video of him giving him Covid, Multiple energy Drinks followed by Drugs laced with Fentanyl but hey lets not let a silly little thing like FACTS get in the way...
