Looking to replace the wire harness under the dash, been there since 63! Besides some of the big names (Year One), any leads on anyone that is putting together stock replacements with stock style connectors?

Sure it's been there for 58 years, but is there actually anything wrong with it? I reused my dash harness and only clipped the bulkhead wiring ends off and redid them. I had more faith in the OE wires than todays redo...

I recently had to replace the brake light switch and did notice a crack in some of the old wiring. Might seem like a big investment, and lots of time, but there would be a peace of mind with no cracked wiring. As of now, engine bay and headlights have all been replaced.

We've been working on my '63 Dodge 330 for 6yrs now. No replacement Dash Harnesses available. Luckily, mine was pretty clean, and worked 100% when removed. I just cleaned it up, along with ALL the connections I could, Hoping for the Best...

While the easier could be replace all the harness, the cheaper will be just replace what is damaged or needs some attention. Sure requires some extra job and patiente to further check everything.

Underdash harness uses to be damaged on bulkhead ends, ignition switch plug, ammeter ends and any extra splice made along the years for extra accesories. Copper uses to hold good the years except if car was baddly storaged on a wet place.

Engine bay harness are another story. Oil and heat... specially over engine and NSS harnesses.
