1970 B-bodies back in the day

Way cool keep them coming guys! Kinda shocked to see many with hubcaps.. more common than the fancy wheels I suppose.
Not "hub caps", full wheel covers. Some covers were decent looking, but usually if you had the $, they were trashed as well. As I noted many times, the only time we saw a car with dog dish hub caps, was when we threw them in the garbage for aftermarket wheels.

My "cool used car" I bought in 1978, at 16, starting my senior year in high school...52,000 miles, I was the 3rd owner but the 2nd owner only had it about 6 months to "repair" (bodywork, primer) the passenger side fender that the original owner had dented in a parking lot. It needed new points, spark plugs and plug wires, cap and rotor were all changed. $1,700
Parents made me sell it when my grandmother got me a 79 Aspen R/T for a graduation present. E-58 "police" 360, black w/gold stripes. I ordered that Aspen R/T.
I could get any car I wanted in that price range. What a shitty year to be offered a new "performance" car! The only other car I considered was the 79 Mustang GT 302 manual transmission. It doesn't really matter, as the Charger, Aspen, or Mustang would have all been sold with the turns my life took in the years that followed.

The model year 71's came out in Sept 1970 IIRC.
