You hear slang terms when talking about our cars. You wonder who came up with some of them. Things like "Loud Pedal" meaning gas pedal. "One Wheel Peel" meaning burning rubber with an open rear. So let's hear some that you have used or know of over the years. It can pertain to anything automotive.

Referring to pistons as 'slugs'
'peg-leg' rear end
"grind 'em to find 'em" for the stick shift challenged folks
ELEPHANT!
At the family trucking yard when I was a kid they all called bungee cords 'rubber snubbers'.

Shoes ( wheels/tires), banging ( shifting)
stall ( don't all automatics have converters??? but meaning a larger than stock), hammer down ( step on the gas pedal hard)
And from other than hot rod culture you have whips, donks, slabs, trues, ....

Motorhead. Gearhead. Grease monkey. Bumpstick. Knuckle-buster (long-throw pistol grip).
