Piston broke - (when you're full of booze and have no money)

'Rowing' the gears.

'Pedalling' that 4-speed.

Blowing Donuts … multiple circles of black stripes applied in highly entertaining fashion, usually in church parking lots.

Smoke show … same but in a straight line

Both come with the wonderful smell of burnt rubber.

my AMX was under geared for launch........I had to "ride the clutch like a bicycle" to get it off the line

Showing your age talking about babbitt bearings :D I still think Flatty V8s are cool.

There was a guy at Spring Carlisle that was building hard tail motorcycles using the small Ford flat head V8. Really clean, simple looking bike that had a great sound using straight pipes.
