I have ordered a EQUUS temperature gauge, but a few car guys said they are junk dont read right, so what are your thoughts , what are you using,bear in mind money is tight.

Don't know anything about Equus.
I'm using Auto Meter (mechanical) under dash gauge cluster. No problems with them. They have a multitude of options.

thanks i went with auto meter 2333,a buddy has it and he say its spot on.

I used a set of mechanical 2" white face gauges from Auto Gauge (autometer cheapies), for my racecar. No complaints.
I did spring for an expensive tach. (Replay, not recall.)
The other cars kinda ended up with a mix of SW, autometer, and VDO.
