From Key Hole, Wyoming. Broiled in a sauce pan with butter and white wine. Big pinch of sea salt and just a little fresh ground black pepper. Accompanied by baked broccoli and crinkle fries. I could do it all over again.

Guess what the dog had... same thing (poured over his dog food) He could do it again too.

Sounds great, I thought people hated Walleye though..or is it Pike?

Sounds great I like walleye, bacon wrapped venison and corn on the cob for me tnite! 440'

Around here, people think Walleye is the tops. People think I'm crazy, but when the ice first leaves the rivers, Catfish is the best.

I had left overs, smoked iowa chop wrapped in bacon then baked in cream of mushroom soup with extra portabello mushrooms with fried potatoes and asparagus.

Walleye is only second to salmon for me.

Snapper, Flounder/Halibut then Crappie are probably my top 3. Had Snapper Friday, Salmon yesterday, Cod today...
I don't know if any if you have a Texas Roadhouse around but I had a Cesar salad with a salmon plank and it was pretty dang good. The salmon had just a slight crunch on the surface and went well with the Cesar dressing.

I had leftover boneless, skinless chicken thighs baked over a bed of sugar snap peas (from our garden) covered with ranch dressing dip and parmesan cheese. Saturdays supper still great!

I'll tell you something about Walleye. If you plan to freeze them, fillet the inside, but leave the skin on. When it's time to eat, pass the fillet under cold water from the tap. The skin will thaw and peel right off, taking no meat with it.

We have tons of walleye here, and in my opinion it's the best eating fish, bar none. Fried up right, there's none better.

Catfish and fried potatoes with onion and garlic last night. My favorite is winter Crappie or large Bluegill.

I caught the lake trout on Lake Huron, the bluegill and crappie were caught ice fishing on Lake St Helen, and the Large Mouth on a small inland lake in Northern MI.

Perch and Wallaye are our favorites, particularly in cold northern waters.
First one is from outside of Gananoque Canada in the St. Lawrence, second are from Hay Bay near Bay of Quinte in Ontario.
We used to go to Georgian Bay once or twice a year.
