Engine tilting

Was out driving and suddenly my Idle is getting really high. Seems like the throttlecable is sticking. I Loosen the clamp for the wire and do some adjusting and retighten the clamp and everything is ok again. On the next roadtrip I notice that my steeringarm is hitting the exhaust when i Steer hard to the right. I also notice that the engine is tilting a bit to the right. Exhaust doesn't feel Loose and enginemounts doesn't look cracked.. Is there any way that I can adjust the enginemounts to level the engine? I have recently replaced my wheels from 15" to 14" but that shouldn't cause this trouble or?

What are you working on a Neon, a Hemi GTX?

Mid page these are what Schumacher was selling when in operation. Shouldn't be to difficult to fabricate similar if this type of shim can work for your setup.

Quickly spike the throttle by hand under the hood.

Sounds like a broken motor mount isolator.
I think you will see the motor twist.

Can't see any big movement. No cracks in the enginemount rubber parts.

Oops.. Sorry. Car is a 69 satellite with a 318. Original exhaust manifolds with custom exhaust.

Have someone get in the car.
Set the parking brakes.
Put blocks in front and behind of both rear tires.
Start engine.
With their foot firmly on the brake pedal place the transmission into drive ( this only works with an automatic transmission)
Now with you standing to the SIDE of the engine compartment, have the other person also push on the gas pedal while still standing on the brakes.
This will cause the engine to want to torque to one side or the other depending on whether the trans is in drive or reverse.
What ever is causing your engine to tilt will immediately be obvious.
Make sure nothing is in front or behind the car for safety.
