How many gallons of antifreeze to fill a fresh 383, I have added 3 gallons so far and still can’t see it in the radiator.

Hope your not running pure anti-freeze. Without water anti-freeze freezes someplace between 1* and 10* so I've been told.

Most will be in the 16 to 18 quart range. Hope you are mixing 50/50.

50/50 mix, Be Cool cross flow radiator, just filling it for now. Will get two more gallons..

Why? I've only used it once and have never noticed any adverse effects from using straight tap water in the mix.

Tap water has chlorine and minerals that will settle out and cause deposits in the
cooling system. Chlorine gets corrosive when it is heated and circulated, although
it off-gasses and leaves pretty quickly.
