It's used more gas than you think..Car has been started and run up and down the driveway (not registered yet)
Not sure how to check sender for ohms
Re watch the video. That's literally what they're showing you how to do

I can't answer that. I only know it works with the original in dash gage. And if so, why use an aftermarket gage?Yes, but will it work with aftermarket gages? (Sounds like you’re good at sharing) lol
Cuz im thinking if all the gages don’t work, the printed circuit is probably bad including the fuel gageI can't answer that. I only know it works with the original in dash gage. And if so, why use an aftermarket gage?
I watched, i asked since my sender is still in the tank…It's used more gas than you think..

Well there ya go, read some threads....Not sure how to check sender for ohms
That was my point, to see what it's showing as currently installed.I watched, i asked since my sender is still in the tank…
Apparently you haven’t read entire thread….. i mentioned previously it is a new build with a new tank, and I ADDED 8 gallons to the tank…Let me see if I understand this correctly. You have a gas tank with an unknown amount of gas in it, you think it might be the sending unit is wrong, so your priority is there. Is this correct?
Crazy.
Ahh ok… will try measuring ohms nextThat was my point, to see what it's showing as currently installed.
I’ll read some threads…..Well there ya go, read some threads....
Providing a link might be actual help, sir.Well there ya go, read some threads....
Seriously, not what I would expect from you.Providing a link might be actual help, sir.
8 gallons should be around a 1/3 tank I believe they are 19 gallon tanks. so in math 5 gallons is a little less than a quarter. These gauges were not that precise from the factory IMO. if your gauge reads empty accurately and full accurate. you can guess the restSo if my gage reads just above empty with 8 gallons in tank, its just an adjustment like the video?
I'm big on helping. Not so much on preaching.Seriously, not what I would expect from you.
Then you do his search work for him.I'm big on helping. Not so much on preaching.
Thanks! Appreciate that!
Unfortunately, as mentioned in post 1, mine reads a hair above empty with 8 gallons in the tank. Am aware they dont read accurately, but as you said, with 8 gallons should read “around” 1/3 to just under 1/28 gallons should be around a 1/3 tank I believe they are 19 gallon tanks. so in math 5 gallons is a little less than a quarter.
