Which is not really surprising, they even sold opels as cadillacs in the past (Cadillac Catera which is actually an opel omega b)

There still is a CTS-V, the CT5-V is sportier. There is also a larger CT6-V.

As for who is buying Cadillac, they have so many high powered models these days...while Chrysler offers no supercharged 300, offering instead just a basic 5.7 hemi with 363 hp, barely past basic V6 territory these days. Where is our 6 speed hellcat 300 to compete with six speed supercharged Cadillacs?

I have a 2012 CTS-V. It has been a great car. Very fast and powerful, plus extremely comfortable. I have never had it on the drag strip. I did do one autocross event with it and took it to a 1/2 mile event. In bone stock form, it did 135mph in the 1/2 mile. I was in a dodge dealership a while ago while my brother-in-law was looking at a new jeep. I chatted for a bit with a salesman about a new hellcat. While the performance of the hellcats is impressive, the interior comforts are nowhere near. With my V getting a little older, I am starting to contemplate a replacement.

Well, if you want a 209 mph. car, (which the automatic version will do) you'll have to put up with some luxury. Actually, I don't see an over abundance of wood here.
And that was my point...you cannot buy a Chrysler with a supercharged engine so anyone who was interested has probably looked elsewhere. More lost sales.

I’ve been patiently waiting for a Hellcat powered 300 since the Hellcats have been offered. Sigh.

That white V coupe is nice.
