I thought I would let people know to be on the watch I responded to a post on Facebook public site on 62 to 65 b bodies,a guy named Chris Papini he was looking for 4 rims to trade for his rims.I sent him 4 stock 1965 rims and 4 64 dog dish caps and sent him pics and mailed the stuff out and he said he was doing the same but he never sent me any rims I even gave him tracking from fed ex. After two weeks I had a friend contact him and he blew up and called us names! He is on Facebook looking for other parts for his car he may be on here , I always try to be honest and fair with people in business or otherwise we don’t need people like this in the hobby I spent $130 in shipping and gas plus my time to help him not cool!!!!!

I’ve got that trunk piece he wants. I just sent him this message.
CP, what a piece of crap person to do this. Treat others like you want to be treated.

Thanks all I asked for was tracking he even said his wife sent them and got mad and said he was sending mine back after my friend messaged him and two days later he said he was sending and he was not going to burn me and then nothing this has been going on for for weeks he got the stuff I sent him in 3 days but thank you.

I do trade and buy some through FB and have had really good success. I try and be as real as possible when doing business there and it has worked out OK for the most part. Mostly buying right now of train stuff so nothing has been scammed on me...KNOCK ON WOOD:BangHead::BangHead::BangHead: Big Bill that just sucks really bad and I hope you can get some restitution out of this Fook Stick...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

I do my buying and selling on the Bodies sites.Only.
Felt that most guys on here are on the up and up.
BUT.
I have been burnt by members on here too.
Some that post everyday. You say to yourself I'll give him a week, 2 weeks, month..You know where this is heading.
Hell, I'm waiting right now.Nothing but crickets.
Big bill, sorry to hear this. And your loss. There is no worst feeling than getting snookered.
Hang in there.

I dont do facebook. Long distance deals bother me.

Facebook ads I tend to use a lot of caution with. I did sell a 383 off FB a while back….guy drove down from Portland to Phoenix to get it.

I have purchased quite a few items on FBBO from multiple members, and thankfully, all went perfect. Craigslist, Fakebook, etc., I avoid.

Got a shipping address you care to share here? City location will be fine.

Sounds like the sort of thing a fish-tank cleaner would do. :rolleyes:

Kiwi was referring to a former member who had mulitple profiles and screen names on here several years back. I haven't noticed any new posts for awhile, but there were some in the past couple of years, I believe.
@HEMI-ITIS can explain it.
