Hello all good day have any done this?
Have to agree with this question...as your ability to drop the engine & transmission out the bottom would then be gone...Why would you ?!?!?
To be honest it looks like an easy way to do assembly line for a motor pop a k frame in for this one and call it good. Why would you ?!?!?
Trans will be an easy out bottom engine would have to top .Have to agree with this question...as your ability to drop the engine & transmission out the bottom would then be gone...
Clearly - I was only referring to taking them out together. If you have a lift, dropping them out the bottom is the only way to go. I have a large table on casters that I use. WAY EASIER THAN USING A CHERRY PICKER.Trans will be an easy out bottom engine would have to top .
You know old ways can you pull a 440 of the top can you drop a 727 or 833 down and work on them?Clearly - I was only referring to taking them out together. Very true but there are many that sell subframe connectors? If nobody done it there must be a reason. The real question why? Did you buy a new welder. There's not a lot of area to weld to. Best reason I can think of is all the flexing would break the welds over time. If there's a problem with holes, stripped or broken bolt or whatever fix it.
Always bolt and weld that makes tough. If nobody done it there must be a reason. The real question why? Did you buy a new welder. There's not a lot of area to weld to. May I ask your age?US Car tool sells a cross brace for connecting frame rails. I'd use that and leave K-member alone.
