Yes, but if you spend a lot of time at the range its instinct to put it down on the bench with the ejection port facing up...

Mine leaves the holster for 2 things:

Range use.
Storage in the safe.

I saw that too, but figured it makes for a prettier picture with the barrel pointing into the frame rather than out of frame..
