I know my sister got treated like **** at walmart. She worked hard doing all tasks. Even helping customers of all ethnic backgrounds. Her boss was a absolute asshole.

I worked there and what she said is pretty much true. I’ve never seen so much bull **** as I saw there and they will screw anyone they can. The only way they leave you alone is if you know the laws and use them against management. Good for her!

I've gone to management here in this dipshit town and complained to them about how they treat their employees like concnentration camp prisoners. Many of them are really nice people. I asked them for the documentation that shows wearing a mask does anything worthwhile. He said I didn't work there so they didn't have to show anything. He also told me to call corporate but it wouldn't do any good. Know why? They are getting $$$ stimulus money.

In today’s job market, it won’t matter. Every place of business in our town has a help wanted sign. If she shows up and can fog a mirror, she’ll get a job.

I thought that the lack of employees was just a problem that we had up here. Literally every business is constantly looking for people. Good employees are hard to find and generally treasured.
My twenty two year old daughter is taking a year off from studies to work and relax. She got a job as a casual covid screener at the hospital. Another department hired her. Then another, etc.
She now works for five different departments, can pick and choose. Makes more money then me, and I’m a sixty one year old tradesman with twenty one years in.

Friend of mine had 1.5 years to go before he could retire. Worked at Walmart for a very long time, as long as I can recall. One day they came down to him and said here are your options.....move your entire family to Ohio or you’re done. No warning no nothing! They knew he had elderly parents here and no way he could pickup and move! They just toyed with him to let him go. They turned into a **** company and I haven’t set foot in a Walmart for about 5-6 years now!

I hate Wal Mart but it’s a necessary evil for a lot of folks.. They killed the mom and pap stores and turned into a direct importer for China . Amazon is following in the same foot steps. Buy American made and lets keep our jobs..

Some younger folks have an expectation of how to be treated that may not be met. If they want something else, go somewhere else. The employees at my local Walmart seem pretty happy, but I don't work there. My experience as a manager taught me that many employees just really like to bitch about their managers. Fine. If it's that bad find somewhere else.

Last Week my sister quit Walmart..............lasted 4 months and just could not take the BS they shelled out.
Good friend and neighbor stayed 3 years and finally gave in 2 months ago and said it was the worst place he ever worked.
