I’ve been puzzled it stoped a year ago but I’ve still go this to prove I wasn’t paying taxes for some time on eBay for some reason… is this some sort of eBay thing or is something strange here… I’ve got a lot more that shows I never paid taxes……..

If this is not paying taxes some group watching me has some powerful pull to do this I believe…………. Kinda scares me some what……

I refuse to sell anything on ebay, after the tax rules were implemented.
If you don't move alot of product, it's hard to get any reward for your efforts in the end.

I have been charged taxes on eBay purchases for quite some time, but have not sold anything since they wanted access to my bank account. I refuse to give them that. I also circumvent them on many purchases also. The smart sellers have information about their websites or telephone numbers in their ads, just go there. Sometimes you still pay taxes sometimes you don't. Things are often less as there are no eBay fees to deal with. Also a lot of sellers include a card or other information on an invoice when you do purchase something thru eBay.

From the screen shots I would assume that part was shipped to a state that they collect sales tax for. Around here if you ship to DE, no sales tax because the state has none.

One of my peeves is eBay collects a commission on the total price including the shipping, shipping is at cost. No markup, it costs the seller to ship. I’m wondering now if the included sales tax in that total. I know in PA sales tax is on the part and shipping.

One time I figured out I couldn’t sell small parts on eBay. I had a book that I thought was a deal at $5. Until I shipped it and paid eBay it would have cost me money.

I didn't much care for the sales tax either, but went along with it. Just the buyer pays tax which is only fair I guess as sales tax is charged on everything else. The last straw for me was when they separated ways with Paypal. I don't want money from selling stuff deposited in my checking account. I also experienced even higher total fees after Paypal went away. I won't ever list anything for sale on Ebay again.

Sales tax on eBay should be charged according to the County you live in, it’s not!
