Do I look fat in this dress?

One of the best designs for an automobile EVER! They are just jealous.
Yes arguably the best design American car of all time. Even non Mopar guys like it.
I’m biased of course.

You don’t realize all the subtle curves and the shape of these chargers until you wash and wax them. Quite a design!

You cannot see the gas cap out the side view mirror, it is over the hump and lower than the top of the quarter panel.

2G Chargers.

The recessed tail lights in 69 and 70 is a brilliant design. Even in daylight they are easy to see and cool looking at the same time (unless they are filthy inside and out and need to be polished). On 69 I really like the black tail light panel which contrasts with the body color and makes the lights even brighter.

Tried to send you a PM but either your mail box is full or there's some other problem.

All this Charger talk is making me think of selling everything and buying another 69. This was my first car way back in the 70's. Would love to have another.
Picked up a lot of chicks in this car.

No the guy said f a t as in fat, overweight, heavy, not complimentary.
Umm. I've never heard that of a 68-70 Charger. If anything they look more streamlined than GTX/RoadRunner/Superbee ect.. A Mopar hater? Now I've heard plenty from that crowd being the only Mopar guy from my old neighborhood.

I have told my Chevy friends that Mopar is like the hot gal you didn't have the balls to ask out. That's why my GTX gets more looks than your 55 Belair. (Now that car looks fat!)

Don't you need specific "disc brake" steel wheels for that? I saw somewhere that there were 14's...and "disc brake 14's"...?
My '70 GTX has factory front discs, code B41, and factory Road wheels, code W23.

So am I but it is true that I'm in Chevy country and a 69 Charger is a show stopper most of the time. I've seen peoples heads whip around when I drive past and have had people stop in the middle of the street and shout compliments while I'm at the gas station.

Where isn't Chevy country? Every year at the State fair grounds we have one of the largest back to the 50s car shows in the country. And Chevy's dominate. Fords a distant 2nd. If I had the money and talents? I would like to try tackling a Max Wedge letter car? But those huge body lines, chrome pieces scare me. I would love to pull up with a concourse level '59 and park the beauty on the "Blue Blood" lawn of the top scale builds? Where only top level Cadillac can even attempt to compete in the 50s era.

Not saying there aren't any, but I've not run across any 14's that don't fit.
Possibly very early 60's 14's.

I've tries 14x5 and 5.5 rallyes and 14" steelies from 66 and 67 cars.
I'm using disks from a 87 5th Ave that ironically came with 15" wheels.

Might have to look into those. All the kits I see (conversion kits - spindles, hubs, rotors, calipers) say "15 inch required"...

I'm not against putting Magnum 500s on my car - I love that look - but I also like the original wheelcovers. Maybe if the brakes fit, I'll see about getting some 14's widened to fill the fenders more, and still take the wheelcovers.

this hangs on my door in the garage

Sure, being a massive fat slob is easy, anyone can do it especially in this environment. Makes me wonder how they wipe their ***...The belly hanging down to the knees is really attractive as well as the elephantitus arm and leg flab.
I'll take looking like this:
