My daughter really wanted taken to her homecoming in the Charger so I put a last minute thrash in and got it done! Man do I wish she would slow down, can't imagine her moving out in a few years.. be a sad day for me.

My baby girl graduated, went to a 4 yr college where she stayed in a dorm, then rented an apartment. I wanted her to come home for a year or two after graduation, but she said she had become too used to being on her own... sigh, She moved to another part of the state.

I still remember her very first day of kindergarten like it was just last week...

It will be a great memory and the car will be the star, not the loooong stretched limo's!

Very beautiful young lady, sweet charger! I know what you mean I miss the nights of waking up at 2 am to find my daughter still doing home work. I would talk to her for a bit then tell her do worry girl you got this sleep is more important now then more book time. I would look in at my son and he would be deep sleep with the TV still on.
They have blessed me with 3 grand children that make my life so good.
Enjoy the last few years she is home and remember all the good times and look forward to the good thins to come.

Congratulations, man. I know how you feel about them slowing down. Mine is 22 now. She is more like my best friend then my daughter. The time goes by too fast. I remember the first day of kindergarten, standing at the school bus stop weeping while the bus took her away. Seems like a month ago. Now at 22 she is engaged, bought a house, makes more money then I do and just returned from a trip to Iceland. Still spends lots of time with us though, but geez it goes by fast. Pic of her her and her tour group in Iceland. A group that included, one judge, a few doctors, lawyers, E.R. nurses, and her roommate was an economist for the United Nations. She has surpassed me, and I am proud of that. And she wants my Super Bee when I am gone, not because it is valuable but because it was mine.

Beautiful car, more importantly beautiful girl, most importantly beautiful relationship.

Treasure it all!

I miss my kids but love that we have a great relationship. Both my kids just joined us when we visited some family in LA (my 24 YO daughter and my 27 YO son). But both are very successful, well adjusted responsible adults. I feel like I won the best lottery in the world!

That's great, hope it works out that way for me. Her and I have always been really close (a daddy's girl) but I'm already noticing the signs that she's becoming a lady.

I really understand how you feel. When her now fiancé asked me if he could marry her it caught me off guard. I thought about it for a minute and said “Don’t ever change her. She is just fine how she is. If you ever don’t like how she is just bring her back to us. Don’t ever strike her. And you are marrying into her family, she is not marrying out of it.”
As I write this right now her and her fiancé are here, and she is telling us about Iceland. I sincerely hope that your relationship with your daughter stays awesome.

Congrats on a job well done, I mean raising a great kid!! Cars can come and go, but, kids are forever.

AS always the Charger looks great

Good for her
great appearing daughter too,
you're a Proud Papa I'm sure

hopefully, it's (& she's stays) safe at homecoming
hopefully, she really enjoys that opportunity

I used to let my girls drive/steer & brake in my racecars
while being towed behind the tow-rigs, back to our pit areas
they got a kick out of it
all of the kids learned to ride motorcycles quads etc.
or in my Jeeps or Toyota 4x4s or tractors way back when
(never my Power Rams or any of my muscle cars, but they all got a car/or a truck on their 16th BD)
made for an easy transition to driving standard shift cars
But any & all my collecter/muscle cars 'were hands-off & they all knew it'
not to even ask, even the boys
I did allow them to drive 'with me in it' a couple of times
never unaccompanied...

What a great way to celebrate both the Daughter's accomplishments and your's combined! I know that feeling well..
