Some I like, some not so much, but THIS one should be produced!

I'd imagine y'all have seen renderings using CG (Computer Graphics) of a variety of cars, and other things.
I'd say most I'd give a pass on, but I really like this!
There's a couple of different pix that offer perspective.
Here's a teaser:

Make it a poll question and I believe you might be surprised at the results...

Nah..
I may look at it tomorrow or a month later and have an even better opinion or wonder what I was thinking...
What say you about the "Modern Bee"?

Think about the modern versions of classic muscle cars we do have:
Mustang, Camaro, Charger, Challenger... (did I miss any?) I'll throw in the Corvette too.
That's another reason why I like the "Future Bee"...lol

No offense bio, but that thing is butt ugly and I doubt would sell very well. Just my opinion of course :poke:.

Stop basing everything of the heavy *** Challenger/300 platform and create a totally new car. That's my opinion. Don't do an E-body based super bee. Thats as bad as when they slapped the Super Bee,Daytona or GTX decal on the trucks back a few years ago.. They would probably **** it up too and base it off the Charger platform.. Which was another missed opportunity. They should have done a 2 door.

The Daytona below is a great example of WTF.. Its a Daytona,4x4 with ground effects package.. How in the hell does that make sense?

The first rendering of the new Dodge Charger I saw was a 2 door, and I've seen a "tangerine fire metallic" color actual prototype that's beautiful. It has a distinctive styling cue of the era at Chrysler, evident in the grill. I was concerned about a 4 door Charger, but the appearance has grown on me, and I don't think a 2 door model would have made it in the marketplace.
I've never seen nor heard of the GTX Truck before your post.
My best friend had a Rumble Bee truck, and it was AWESOME!

"Modern Bee" looks like a modified 67 Camaro....pass for me.

If they went old school then they could have offered the Charger in a 2 door and 4 door. I mean they offered the Belvedere in both back in the day. I guess its a money crunch thing now..

The reality is... if you were around at the time, that model was regarded as the most ugly, hideous car at the time. Especially for the 1970 model year, where mostly all the other models had either slight or major restyles, from all the manufacturers.

My first thought is that it looks more like a modern Camero than a Super Bee. Chrysler used to be the leader in design and performance technology back in the day. I wish all manufacturers would get back to original cutting edge design instead of all these throw backs. Where's the innovation in design now a days? 440'

They weren't a factory build they were ordered through the dealers and the conversion was done by L.A. West out of Indiana. Kind of a cool truck but nothing spectacular about them. I don't think there were any performance upgrades done to them, but I could be wrong.

My theory is manufactures build what they want us to buy.Not what "WE" want to buy.

Don't know if it was a flop or not, but this was my wife's 50th birthday present.

I like them, and I liked them when they (the new ones like the picture) first came out. I liked the idea of "contemporary" muscle/sports cars with retro appearance. The T-Bird was one of the first IIRC, before the Mustang, Challenger, etc.
