Do You Find it Attractive (or gross)?

I had extremely long hair when I was a rock drummer back in the sixties. It all went away when I joined the Navy. I've been looking for my hair since 1969 but to no avail.
Regarding individuality... please remember we are all different, just like everyone else.
Some is also a reaction from us? We (Boomers/GenX) don't like. Thus why they do! For some reason each generation needs to rebel (Especially fashionably) against the former. We did with our parents generation. Now it's our turn to look with that "WTF look on our face." It's also true with cars. I believe I am of the greatest car generation. Muscle car. But my dad didn't. He came from a generation if the car wasn't the size of an aircraft carrier? It wasn't a proper automobile. And the generation after us? Tuner. Those fart can foreign Muscle car wantabees? But does that generation care about my opinion? Nope. In fact, they revel in my discust. Just as they will to the now electric car generation.

I had long hair as a teen. My son is almost 30 and has long hair. You would have a hard time finding anyone who works harder and loves his children any more then he does. If you can tell the value of a person by the length of his hair you are looking in the wrong place to find a good person. If some of us more clean cut people were having car problems my son would be the first to pull over and help. And yes I call him Sasquatch because he is 6' 5' and has long hair. He would never judge you by looks.

It’s an age old bullshit thing with people judging people on how they look, dress, hairstyle, and we know it goes deeper than that. Some are way too consumed about it and others are all concerned about what others think of them…add there are the *** kissers, kool-aide drinkers, begging for acceptance, etc. My folks had good friends when I was younger that played this head game **** on me time and again and later a boss that did the same. They’d look for any reason to knock you down. Like, ok, I have a lot of hair on my head and rarely used hair gel matting it down, unless my mom had the relatives over or something and she’d tell me to do it; so what. “Oh Ronny you should use some Vitalis and part it nicely, you’ll look more handsome”. What? I’m outside running around all day until the sun goes down, or later working on go-carts and cars…wdf do I need my hair greased and parted? Fortunately my folks were more concerned about other stuff than my hair. There’s a tune by Rick Nelson; Garden Party, one of my favorite tunes. One lyric “You can’t please everyone, so you got to please yourself.” Yeah, could give a **** about what others think and I do the same.

What's with the new fad of green or some other ugly color hair? I went to purchase some bolts today at a hardware store and the person helping me had this gross color hair. I could not tell if the employee was a boy or a girl. I hope this ends quickly (I prefer blondes).

Those chicks would look great cruising around in a triple pickle C body like a New Yorker. :)

Oh...............my..........

No thanks I'm not into weird color hair on anyone
it's not sexy, not to me anyway
I know people that did food color dyes
for home coming etc./no harm no foul

Not into long hair on men/boys,
especially when they are older (like 40-50+) & losing it
but refuse to see or admit it

hair buns are OK on women, not men it's gay
I'm not into tattoo'd up anyone
especially women, I do like a 'well place' & small tasteful tat
(not tramp stamps)

but to each their own
I frowned upon it with my kids
IMO any neck or face tattoos are just stupid

most my life I was flat topped or butch haircut
#2 or #3 Wahl Groomer comb
especially when I was lil'

short, with a beard or mustache & goatee/vandyke

I really don't care what the younger generation does...hair shape, colour, style, tats, piercings, body mods....if it makes them happy go ahead an do it, it hurts no one.

My youngest daughter has bright green hair, but she has also grown a mullet! She loves old thrift store clothing and dresses funky and weird with crazy make up with gems and rainbow eye colouring etc, has started a fine collection of tats as well... and you know what she gets more compliments on her style then I ever did looking mostly bland and normal.
