I am having difficulty locating a rubber seal that fits over the vent door that opens and closes the air flow in the fresh air box. Cannot find and Detroit Muscle. This is the vent door inside the #2607015 fresh air box. If it is a part no longer available, do any of you amazing fabricators have any suggestions to make one or maybe another make/model of car that may have a similar seal. I spotted "something"similar on a chevy door but am yet to match the approximate 7" X 8" oval dimensions.

DMT has it, I got mine in a kit from them, suggest you contact them. Some materials will shrink, or degrade.

He's not looking for the foam rubber vent to cowl seal which DMT carries. He's looking for the rubber seal that fits over the vent door inside the box. Nobody reproduces that.

See post #6 for a work around.

Thanks, wasn’t thinking of that seal. I have a few of those boxes, seals are still nice and flexible. Just looked at one and it almost looks like it is vulcanized. Will take the flapper out and have a better look. I built a mesh dome over the box , so critters can’t get in.

Great idea. I think I'll do the same.
