69 gtx

Wow, just finished reading this thread. It took about a week. What a journey! You have a lot of ingenuity for sure. No problem unsolved. I'm impressed. Hope you get back on here and update on the shoulder as well as the car. I'm looking at a shoulder replacement at some point as well. I just grin and bear it for the time being. Congrats on retirement, I'll never be able to retire after 08. Just not in the cards for me. Hope you enjoy and update us on this beautiful car!
But it was the low road? Tough journey. My '69 GTX is now new again? (Only took a little over 50 years?) Christine was right Shitters!

Ok, so sorry for the long delay on a update.
The shoulders doing good. I'm done with the IVs and just doing a oral antibiotic. I still haven'the done much on the GTX, I'm still on a 10lbs. restriction. And my overhead left arm movement still sucks.
Sept. 30th is the official retirement date.
Sept. 18th is Mopar day at my local track, Eddyville Raceway Park. If you can come look me up!
I'll try to be more regular here.

Thanks Dad! I've been following doctors orders to the letter. Plus as IQ52 knows I need to be ready for hunting season!

Tim, glad you're doing better. Keep up with the therapy to get that motion back. Hope you are back for hunting season.

Good to hear you are doing better. I had a hack go into my left shoulder and I have about 50% of my original range of motion and more pain. Hooe yours turns out better!
Be excited to see this GTX get on the road.

Yes my first one ended up that way. This time I went to a University hospital, much better results. I had more range of motion 1 week after surgey!

Mopar day at Eddyville Raceway Park this Saturday, time trials start at 1:00

Winner winner chicken dinner. Tow truck for the win in Mopar Street Class!

Well the X still isn't done, so raced the truck. Not bad for first race in 17 years.

So just a update. New shoulder is great! Done with therapy in Nov. You all know I'm a hunting fool. So I scored a buck Nov. 13th. Scored another during early gun season Dec. 5th.

Also took a road trip to GA. In late Nov. via Superbird Mike's garage. Had a good visit, looked at both cars and dropped off a 400 block. Great time!

Ok so anyone can you offer some help?
I can't upload pictures anymore. I did in September. When I click upload photos it takes me to 3 choices
Camera. Camcorder. Or downloads.
None of which are from my photos file. Disclaimer I am NOT a tech guy!!!!!
