Original paint car I sold in early 90's. Was wondering if anyone on this board owned it. I would be a great source of info for it. I've been going backwards talking to owners or trying to locate them to get info on my "new" 71 GTX. Have been able to talk to a couple of people. I really enjoy getting the history of a car, makes it seem like much more than just a collection of parts and sheet metal.

This car was the weird polygold? Console AT, drums, pretty low options, but original paint in great condition.

Thanks. The one next to it was a 70 Coronet 440 with AC and tinted windows. All original paint, same color, 32K miles at the time. I had a growing family so couldn't keep several cars. I sold this to a nice young gal that seemed very responsible.....she sideswiped a pole with it a week later....sad.

Nice. Our 68 R/T Dad bought new was that color. The black bumble bee stripe really set it off.
Had a green look to it under fluorescent light at night. Least it did to me back then.
It would be cool if you do find it.All the cars I've sold over the years seemed to just vanish never to be seen again.

The car I've really wanted back all these years is a 69 RT that was built on my birthday (month/day). I've been trying to buy it for 20 plus years. They won't give in. Funny thing is, I had it before this 70. The 70 was for sale and I thought it looked really different. The guy decided he didn't want to sell it to a long haired hippy looking guy. So then I found the T5 ramcharger 69 RT. I felt like it was a consolation prize or something! Without making this story too long, it really is the car I've wanted back....and it's so tantalizing close by! But in the past year I've given up on it. I don't think I would buy the 70 back if I could. Just would like to share history with current owner. I've been researching and documenting the history on my current car for the grins.
