You can’t make this sh&t up

And you'd think the guy would be concerned about you being an upset customer but in reality he's happy to not have to serve you....

Awhile back I was in Austin for work & decided to grab Popeyes... There was only three cars in line so I figured it would be pretty quick.... Got in line & waited, & waited...... the first car in line which was at the window finally drives off & the second car which is at the menu board orders their meal... Wait, only now they are taking the second cars order? WTH? I'm about to drive off but the car behind me is to close ... Waiting... Waiting... Waiting... The second car which in now the first car pulls forward.... Do I drive off? Or place my order... I've waited this long, who knows how long I'll have to wait at get my order in some where else so I continue to wait.... Finally The car ahead of me gets their food & drives off.... And a minute or so later they take my order...... We all know Chicken places can be a little slower then regular fast food... Anyway I place my order & pull all the way up to the window & they take my money immediately the disappear... twelve minutes later I get my food...

They literally won't take the next person in lines order till they've given the current customer his meal.... Are you kidding me? The whole point of having the menu board at least ten car lengths from the window is you prep the food while the line is moving.... If I owned that store I'd fire the whole crew.... But thats not how the world works these days....
Sounds like the Popeyes in North Tulsa

About the only thing right in that photo is they actually went out and got a job. Not saying they’re doing their job. Just that they have one.

Dare I make a positive post? A few days ago I used my local Dominos for the first time since moving here last year. I placed my order online to be picked up. Dominos has their 'pizza tracker', and I left to go get my order when the tracker showed my pizza was being made. Dominos is less than a mile from my place, so I was fully expecting to have to wait a few minutes. Just as I pulled in, the tracker changed to 'in the oven'.........
Turns out the tracker was a few minutes behind. I got there just as they were boxing up my order. The place was pretty busy, but a worker was quick to hand off my order to me. Didn't see one person without a mask either.
As a side note, I don't go to Dominos often because most of the time it seems like the pizza has gone thru the oven too fast, ending up barely toasted and almost doughy. Not at this place, the pizza was fully cooked without being burnt.
Was there any cheese on it? The last time I had Dominos it only had a hint of cheese on it. Pathetic.

Hell, the last time I had pizza from Domino’s they forgot to cut it. I swear I had to laugh

No one knows what good customer service is now days. We didn't do things that way Scott.
Ain't that the truth? I'm a self confessed service Nazi. I always say that I don't even need to be wowed. I'll settle for adequate customer service, at this point. Even that is hard to find anymore. And I'm talking before all of this pandemic stuff.
One of my biggest pet peaves is a drive thru not giving you any napkins. I'm probably extra OCD about that because I have a mustache and use a lot of napkins. One hot summer day about 4 years ago, my wife and I swung into a Dairy Queen and each got a cone at the drive thru. Wouldn't you think the kid would hand you a napkin with your cone? Nope - not for either. I kind of lost it for a second and just looked at him and yelled "NAPKINS!!" I felt a little bad about it, but not really. I don't think anyone should even need to be trained for such a common sense thing in the food service industry.

On the flip side, Chick Fil A has customer service down pretty well at most locations. I have yet to find one that's even close to the one in Appleton, WI. I've told my wife that I'm not sure if I like the food more or watching their drive thru operation more. It's a well oiled machine. I can be behind 50 cars and have my food faster than being behind 5 cars at a Culver's.

I might even go so far as to say this was the best pizza I have ever gotten from Dominos? No skimping on the toppings, properly cut, and fully cooked.

There's another place that is strictly local that I prefer, but they are w-a-y too pricey for a broke individual like myself. One, one topping medium with TTL $23.00 out the door. Domino's was $13.XX for two one topping mediums. I'm all for supporting small business, but, dang......

After I looked at the photo, I thought you were going to say they had no food left.

Lol that’s just wrong.

< SORRY... NONE LEFT FOR YOU !

My grandson and I stopped at a restaurant drive through to get a FROSTY and tea. I won’t mention their name. We were in line alone, and it took 10 minutes or so to take my order and another 5 or 10 to get it. I’m like what the hell. Well I figured it out as soon as I made it to the window. (Rant over)View attachment 1223027

I'm sorry this happened to you I know how you feel too, I kind of had a similar situation. I once waited in the drive-thru at another restaurant for 10 minutes but there was 4 cars in front of me too. I felt like you like WTF for waiting so long but I stuck it out, I got what I ordered and all was fine no complaints other than waiting in line so long. Let's just leave it at that otherwise I will probably get banned from here.

I know exactly where you're talkin' about, did you file a complaint? I most certainly would

Was at a drive through a about a month ago and the women takes my other and told me to not pull forward, stay there and they would tell me when to pull up to pay and pick up my food. 5 plus minutes go by and I'm ready to turn and go when she comes back on to tell me to pull forward. I looked at my wife and told her to hold on. I'm carrying and ready. I pull up and there are 4 people standing there on their phones and one person working. She was the boss and had no control of the situation and didn't want anyone waiting for their food looking at all this going on. They closed a few days later.

There are two sides to what's going on, just a few days ago I go to subway and there are 5 people in line with one girl working by herself. They were giving her a hard time and she was starting to cry. I asked them to give her a break, a few agreed and one wouldn't let up. I blurted out, enough!! She totally started crying and was staring right at me. I told her to stop crying, it was fine. The asshole looked at me and walked away. The others were watching me as I'm trying to talk her off the ceiling. She was so sad that it broke my heart. All by herself, trying to make a buck and just tired, probably sick and tired. A woman walks in and it turns out she was called in to help her. The new woman takes my order while the other girl broke down and went to the bathroom. I'm talking to the woman when the girl came back and went to the register and looked at me and thanked me. I gave her 50 bucks, for a 7.99 sandwich and thanked her. Guess what, she started crying again and I walked out with a tear in my eye. It's some fucked up times we're living in now and I have no idea when it will get any better. I felt good, real good and I'd like to think I made her day, because she definitely made mine.

Your first mistake was just stopping there..... next mistake was NOT making a scene...That right there is the people who complain that minimum wage is too low
