In the process of moving into a new house this month. The bonus is the 1500sq ft work shop that is on the property. Looks like I need to add a couple more cars just to fill it up a bit.

Beautifull! Looks like you'll need a jukebox for that shop! Just sayin'

Nice buy on the shop. The house is the bonus.

Great looking shop!

Nice, even looks like you have running water. Now for a hoist, air compressor, workbenches, and all that good stuff. You will be busy for awhile.....

Beautiful space!! The potential. Blank canvas. Nice.

There is running water in the shop. Work benches (two of them), and cabinets are on the wall behind me. A compressor, 2 post lift, TV, music, etc. are all on the list of things to come.

The story behind the property is quite sad. The previous owners of the house were both retired Army. The husband was an avid car hobbyist and had the shop built. Shortly after completion, he died in an accident on the property while trimming trees. His widow stopped by the house last weekend to drop off some extra keys she had. She was very emotional when she came inside. We talked for quite a while about her husband and his love for the house, the shop, and his cars. I made a promise to her that I would take good care of it and asked her if she had any photos of his cars that I could hang in the shop as a tribute to him.

Nice and congratulations! A couple of classic rides to add there, juke box, hockey table, nice bar, cable t.v., stocked fridge.....I need to stop.

I really like the idea of the previous owner's cars pic's on the wall. Every time you look at them,
it will make you appreciate what you have!

And it won't take long to fill it.Happens to the best/rest of us !
Perfect size for one or two A-symetrical or Bi-symetrical lifts.

What sold you on the property; the house or the shop? We built our "forever" home about 20 years ago. It is a 1450 sq. ft. ranch with 1250 sq. ft. 4-car garage. 2 wide and 2 deep, so it doesn't look goofy from the road.

Nice! Very thoughtful.... Shame he passed, glad you benefited from the situation..

The house checked all the boxes of what we were looking for. It is out in the country a bit, and sits on just over an acre of land. We are on a dead end street with houses only on one side, across the street is a strawberry farm. Behind us is pasture land. The house isn't too big, 3 beds, 2 baths. Pool with screened enclosure, 2 car attached garage with a space above it for my wife's office (she works from home).

I used to tease my wife that I wanted a 700SF house with a 3000SF attached shop.
Almost got my wish,,once....

I moved close to you ( Lakeland) in 2012.. I looked at MANY homes that were repoe'd or were being short saled.... Some of the places were just being finished when one spouse died and the other could not take care of it or afford it alone...
When I questioned my realtor about feeling poorly about this, she laughed and said " Florida is gods waiting room"......

Congrats on your home, both it and the shop look beautiful
